Teases of Toffee and Warm Notes of Orange

About the farm

On a fifteen-hour drive from the nearest city, it’s common to see big game wandering the roads that lead to the remote Kilomero Valley. Here you’ll find hundreds of smallholder farmers sourcing ultra premium cacao alongside the birds, primates, and playful elephants that inhabit the lands of nearby Udzungwa National Park.

About the Partnership

Kokoa Kamili, a pioneering social enterprise is helping farmers generate a new sustainable income to support their families and community by integrating cacao farming into the area and building facilities that bolster yields. With Original Beans we support ongoing reforestation efforts with local partners and programs that ensure the wild elephants and locals can exist in happy harmony.
