Description

Connecting remote farmers to a healthier world economy.

Swirls of Sweet and Spice

About the farm

Nestled on the quiet mountainsides far beyond San Pablo de Borbur, a group of 80 family farmers are connecting to the global demand for fine flavour cacao while alleviating the local pressures of coca production. On top of being a more lucrative cash crop for the community, the cacao grown here helps this remote Colombian town distance itself from drugs and crime.

About the Partnership

Together with our buying partners, we provide technical assistance and best growing practices to farmers that allow them to boost their yields. And through our partnership with the Asociacion Campesina, we’re bringing a positive social impact to the region by starting gender equity conversations inside a community where women play an active role in family finances.
